Prblm: Not really for outdoor use. I wanted to use it outside on a pool fence, fully exposed to the elements. When clock arrived, sticker on unit said not for use in direct sunlight. Isn't that "outdoor" use? Apparently, per seller (not Amazon), indoor/outdoor really means indoor or outdoor under protection (covered porch, maybe fully exposed but in shade all the time). So I can not use it as I had hoped. Listing in Amazon should be more precise. So use caution when considering purchase and intended use. Note that there is a return policy that I could have used, but frankly I did not feel like going through the effort and time.
