(More customer reviews)Bought this clock for a remodeled bedroom. Really like the projection, and it's easy to read on the ceiling without my glasses on. It's cool that the projection can be rotated and flipped to fit nearly any situation, but I was disappointed to find that it cannot be hung from the wall with the power adapter in place. Poorly though out there.
The outdoor transmitter is under the eaves, line of sight through the bedroom window, but shows a weak signal on the clock. Bringing the transmitter in the room right next to the clock doesn't improve the signal at all, so after 5 hours I had to set the time manually. Then I noticed that the outside temperature is showing 3 degrees warmer than my cheap Lacrosse weather station, so I got out my calibrated Fluke 52 to see which one is closer - the Lacrosse is dead on. I'm bummed to see a $20 instrument is much more accurate than a nearly $100 unit, but living in San Diego, cold is a relative term anyway - and I really got it for time projection. Bottom line - it's an alright unit and looks classier than the plastic alternative.
