The design could not be simpler or easier to use - no instruction manual required, although one is included. Buttons on the top set the time and wake-up time, a switch on the side turns the alarm on or off, and there is a 9-minute Snooze button and Off button on top. That's it. Works like a charm right out of the box. Insert a 9V battery (not included) to keep it running during power outages and you're set. Display is clear with good visibility.
