(More customer reviews)This clock really is 12" on outside diameter, with a beautiful frame, it leaves ony 9" for actual face. Numbers and hands are still legible from more than 30 feet away. Quality look feel, and design; but made in China. I bought this for my office, but moved it to a conference room as the clock does tick; quietly, but definately there when no other noise in office.
