(More customer reviews)and its ugly. There is no volume control as advertised (as of 01-15-2009). The advertised one is a grayish body with ligh-pink clock dial disc. But the one I got is flashing golden color all over; it looks like a golden bulb on the wall, so much glare that the clock handles can hardly be seen.
I think the one I got is an earlier model which packed by Amazon in place of a newer model. That is not nice, isn't it? It's going back tomorrow to where it came from.

This melodies in motion clock contains 16-melodies, it plays on the hour, but night shut-off from 10:00pm to 6:00am. Sweep/quartz movement operates. That's silent when it runs except on hours that you will not hear the second ticks. The inner dial with rhinestone hour markers consists of an open, satin brass finished numeral ring. Large black arabic numerals with black hour, minute, second hands are easy to read. The dial is protected by a glass crystal lens with polished brass bezel. Measures approximately 18-1/2-inch tall 11-3/4-inch wide 3-inch deep.
