Just be aware that it has two places for batteries...no instructions with clock so I wasn't aware of this and at first I thought it was broken. I called Ashton Sutton, the manufacturer, and they were great at helping me resolve the issue.

A hand-rubbed brasstone case surrounds an easy to read dial with an antique world map created by Fredrick De Wit of Amsterdam in the 1600s. This timepiece is completed with a second hand sub-dial.
