(More customer reviews)Cheap plastic look and feel and it's a couple of inches thick. That makes it look 'bad' (in my opinion). That also makes it hard to hang as the nail must stick out quite a ways from the wall to reach the recessed 'hole' in the clock. IE: you can't use a nice small nail like you can with most other clocks. It's OK for my basement, not my kitchen.
