(More customer reviews)I've seen this particular clock at other web sites. I decided to buy it from Target.com because the price was good and there is free shipping. When I received the clock in only 3 days, I was pleasantly surprised to see first how well it had been packed. It arrived in perfect condition. I inserted an AA battery only to wonder whether I had gotten a "dud" -- it didn't make any perceptible tick. Soon it was clear that the clock was working well and I hung it in my newly remodelled kitchen in a prominent place and I love it. I highly recommend this very quiet, well-made clock.
