(More customer reviews)We bought this clock to replace one that was too small for our mantel. This is a very beautiful clock with good chime tones. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because of two things:
1. The face is very shinny. The glare makes it difficult to see the hands to determine the time.
2. You get a four note chime at quarter past the hour, an 8 note chime at half past the hour, 12 note chime a quarter till the hour plus 16 note chime on the hour along with the hour chime. This is too much for me. None of the descriptive data about the clock indicated exactly how it would chime. Some people may like all the chiming but it's too much for me.
