(More customer reviews)I have two Seth Thomas Clocks. One is the black version of this clock and the other is the Carbonfiber racecar inspired clock. Both of them have the AutoSet feature, whihc sounded good on paper, but is hard to set up. First of all, if you ever have to manually adjust the time on this clock you cannot just move the hands forward or backwards. You have to set the little digital clock in the back to the correct time, set the manual hands to 12:00 and let the clock set itself. (For example, if you wanted 5:30 you would have to set the manual arms at 12:00 and the digital clock to 5:30 and then the clock sets itself automatically by moving the hands at a fast pace until it reaches 5:30). These clocks are built very well but changing the time is a hassle. I would not buy an AutoSet clock in the future.
ALSO, I bought these clocks two years ago and have learned that the company who manufactured them wen out of business in 2009. So be warned that these things are no longer produced and that if you ever need to replace a part you're going to be screwed.
