You will need a small phillips screw driver to remove the
packaging around the clock. FYI, the tiny screws are in the
center of the metal disks on the back of the box.
Enclosed instructions led me through slightly tricky steps to set the time. I strongly suggest you file them away in case you have to reset the clock when the batteries die.
The clock plays the familiar Westminster chimes on the hour,
followed by chimes to count off the hour.
The chimes are just about the right decibel, maybe a little
softer than I'd like, but I am a little bit deaf.
This Westclox replaces a nearly identical-looking chiming clock
I had before a burst battery destroyed it. But this new one was
one-third the price of the old one!
