(More customer reviews)Bought it a couple mos ago and it was fairly quiet, not whisper quiet. Looks great. After 2 mos though it started making a ticking sound when you would turn it on. The faster you set the fan the louder / quicker the ticker sound. Too late to return it, as return policy is for 30 days. :(
