(More customer reviews)The idea of a voice-set alarm is very good, especially if you change your wake-up time as often as I do. The voice recognition on this is not perfect, but it's OK, and the confirmation of your settings afterwards is excellent. I can forsee getting tired of the prompt when I already know what to say, but it's short enough to not be very irritating.
What kills this for me is the lack of a battery backup. This is a strictly AC-powered clock, which means even a one-second power outage means I'm late for class. This is an unacceptable lack in an alarm clock and is the reason I gave only 2 stars to this otherwise promising clock.
