I think a botanic garden kitchen clock is the perfect accessory for a portmeirion enthusiast and was very excited to receive it as a gift. However, at certain hours of the day (around 5-8 oclock and when time is near the half hour) it may be difficult to read the hands. But with that in mind, I still wouldn't trade it for any other kitchen clock now on the market
