I have had mine for 9 years now. It immediately went to the top of my favorites when I brought it home. If it was cheaply made, it wouldn't last & it would break my heart. This will be an heirloom clock. It does get dusty & it's great to be able to wipe the arms down with a moist rag when I need to without worrying about hurting it....SO WELL MADE. I have to replace the AA battery about twice a year...not bad at all.
