(More customer reviews)For the price of this clock, I was very surprised at the lack of quality. It's all plastic. The "wood" frame is plastic, the gold background is plastic, and the numbers are plastic. It's very cheap looking and not near worth the price. Beware of the description "Manufactured to the Highest Quality Available." Available is certainly a key word. I only rated it two stars because from a distance, it looks OK, and it matches the colors in my room. I'm going to leave it up for a while because of the amount of money I spent on it, but it won't be a long term accessory in my room. Very disappointing...

George Vanderbilt's room is filled with furniture and artifacts inspired by the grand Baroque style, very fitting for a man of his refined taste living in the Gilded Age. Hidden among the many objects in the room is a clock of such detail, that our team of designers nearly mistook it for a bronze sculpture. While the original includes intricate metal tooling and showcases a scene of Esther pleading before Ahasuerus, our large Gallery Wall Clock version highlights the unique starburst motif and hammered gold background found on the original. The center star and sunburst design is raised, along with the Roman numeral time track. An aged outer frame finished in Hampton Cherry completes this stunning design that is sure to be the focal point wherever it is displayed.Features:Hampton cherry finish Hand crafted in the USA Precision quartz movement Inspired by the Biltmore Estate, America's largest home Aged Roman numeral time track Unique raised starburst motif 1-Year warranty on mechanical movement Requires one "AA" battery (not included)Specifications:Overall dimensions:29" H x 29" W x 2" D Diameter: 29"
