Glow in the Dark Wall Clock Review

Just received my new Verichron glow-in-the-dark wall clock by Kirch. It arrived several days late and was packaged poorly, allowing it to get scratched during transit. Very surprising from UPS. Amazon is all about their new ease-in opening packaging, but if this is any example, the hell with it and get out the box cutter. The clock itself is visually appealing with its stainless steel band and a real piece of glass covering the face. The stainless steel is low quality and mine was scratched during delivery. The only thing glow-in-the-dark about this clock, is its hands. The numerals are not, and the GITD longevity of the hands is short lived. The one place you do not want to display this clock is anywhere you sleep. The second hand "TICKS" like it is hammering a nail. It drove me insane last night, so I took it down and am pondering exactly where I will relocate it. This clock is overpriced and should reflect a $19.99 retail price point, not a $30.00 plus one. The shipping cost was high, especially factoring in the late arrival & poor packaging. All in all, a cool wall clock for a noisy room, with alot of light, selling for $19.99 including free shipping. It would be a great addition to any hypnotists office, "tick tock...ticK tocK...tiCK toCK...tICK tOCK...TICK TOCK!!"
