(More customer reviews)This makes an excellent gift--my aunt gave it to me for my baby shower (rocket themed nursery) and I love it. She bought it from Amazon--the clock came packaged in a very high-end looking black box, and it is even cuter in person than in the picture. The antiquing on it looks really good--it looks like it's vintage. The little rocket at the top is part of the pendulum--it rocks back and forth as the clock ticks--and although I was afraid the ticking would be too loud for the baby's room, I can barely hear it. It needs one AA battery, and it is not difficult to attach the pendulum--it's also easy to hang on the wall--just one nail needed. This company (Timeworks) has a bunch of really cute clocks for kids (or big kids! I want the fairy one for me :) ) and Amazon sells them. I highly recommend this product. Very high quality.
