Looks like a antique, expensive clock, no one would guess it runs on a single double A! always kept time remarkably and has no annoying "Tick Tock" sound to keep you up at night. It seems like having this clock in your home makes it more homelike. So basically, if you want to have a clock that will also make a great centerpiece, without breaking the bank, this is the way to go.
P.S. my friend guessed that we spent $200 on it. We just said "That's actually really close!" and let him think we were high rollers :)
