(More customer reviews)We bought an Atomix clock very similar to this one ( looks like this one ), a few years back from Walmart for around $30. It was our first atomic clock. It stinks. It won't synchronize most of the time, even though we live in Denver, about 30 miles from the signal source. And even if you set it with the correct time, most of the time it will un-synchronize itself the following night and show the wrong time and date the next day!
We're so disgusted with the thing that we won't even give it away to Goodwill, we're actually thinking of taking it out in the sticks and shooting it, to put it out of its misery.
Since then someone told us that La Crosse made atomic clocks that work and we bought 2 of theirs. They synchronize flawlessly, every day without fail, for the last 2 years that we've had them. I'd recommend a La Crosse instead.
