(More customer reviews)We have owned the silver unit (not the John Deere version) for over 6 years now and it has been reliable. We bought additional sensors for the unit multiple years after we bought the receiver and they worked as well. Now we have three remotes working. One outside, one in the garage, and one in the attic. I searched this item on Amazon in an attempt to buy another one for a gift, but I can only find the green one and I don't want the green one. Anyhow, I have multiple Oregon Scientific items and have had good luck with both of them. I guess they have created a loyal customer.
