Must have been something to do with our magnetic bodies or something ridiculous like that. During that period, we found that Timex watches would run a couple of years for us. Since the advent of Quartz movements now most all watches run for anyone. Timex has a super large selection and so many of them are extremely inexpensive. If I could make a watch with an expansion band, I know full well that I wouldn't sell it for under $20.00! This particular Chronograph is stylish, accurate, easy enough to see, operate and yes, even adjust the bracelet band. I'm extremely pleased with it. My previous watch is also a Timex. The reason I've purchased the new one is not because it quit running, but some of the dial pieces came unglued due to extreme vibrations when I was feeding logs into a wood chipper.....not unlike operating a jack-hammer. Now when I'm doing heavy work, I wear the old watch.
