This handy compact device serves dual purposes as both a talking count down timer and a talking clock. As an added bonus, after the set count down time expires, the timer continues as a count up timer. Maximum countdown time is 23 hrs 59 minutes 59 seconds. The count down timer announces time remaining until 00:00 based on the following schedule:There is an announcement every hour from 23 hours. (As an example, at the 12 hour mark, you hear a beep and the announcement 12 hours left in female voice.) At 60 minutes, the announcement is every 10 minutes.At 10 minutes, the announcement is every minute.At 1 minute, the announcement is every 10 seconds.At 10 seconds, the timer announces every second down to 00:00. At 00:00, a count up timer starts as the timer alarm sounds for 60 seconds. When the timer reaches 1 minute, it announces 1 Minute Over. Count-up announcements continue in the same increments as shown above.Other features: Choice of 6 timer alarm sounds: Whistling tea pot; Cuckoo; Bell; Hopping coil; Car horn; Traditional Beep The VOICE ON/OFF switch gives you the option of turning off the voice announcement during the countdown.
