(More customer reviews)I bought this timer hoping that it would be something I could use during time-outs with my toddler son. I had thought that the timer would do a "dance" as the song played, and that it would be a nice way to inroduce time out to my son.
When I first used it, I thought it was broken, because it doesn't dance, as described in the write-up. It only moves one time just before the song. That is it. I was disappointed that it doesn't really dance, as described.
My biggest disappointment, however, is that the dial is VERY flimsy and broke within the first week of my using it (and I wasn't using it very much!). It will now turn, but the buzzer and song go off at random times, so I can't use it for time-outs, since it will confuse my son. In fact, quite often, the buzzer sounds and the song never plays! The song part of the timer broke along with the dial, it seems.
Don't waste your money on this timer. I would suggest just getting another timer that is more sturdy. This is a cheaply made piece of junk.
One more additional bit of info - if your child tends to like to play with this type of thing, you will have to keep it out of his/her hands if you don't want it to totally fall apart. The fragile small springs all over it are very easily broken and stretched, and it is very easy for the whole timer to just sort of fall apart into pieces if it is not handled carefully. Again, not a very good thing to be using with toddlers!!

This adorable boy is also unique timer. He will let you know when, time-out is over by moving it's head and humming a samba tune. Your child will be doing the, happy dance along with the timer when the time is up.
