(More customer reviews)This might be a rugged little lamp but it really doesn't give off enough light to be a table lamp. It's only a flashlight size bulb covered by a shade. The only way to get enough light is to take off the shade.

Having a clock running on an item that is mostly for emergencies just means that the batteries are going to be less effective than I want them to be. Crank lever improvement in design but radio still to easy to turn on by accident.

We like this one particularly because it's the only one we've found that has a square case--it stands up for hands-free use. Duh, manufacturers. Are you listening?
