(More customer reviews)I was disappointed with the AM/FM reception. The electronic tuner is not good at discriminating signals and the strong stations bleed over into adjacent frequencies. The NOAA weather bands are very clear. I did not try the voicelink communications functions. The LED light is bright and the backlit LCD display is very nice. I returned it because I just can't deal with a radio with bad reception. My Sony ICF-2010 is the gold standard for portables and now I'm still looking for a good emergency radio.
