Don't get me wrong, I need it to keep accurate time but that wasn't the driving force behind my choice. It came in a well packaged box with everything intact. The markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12 are a slight greenish yellow and not white. Make sure you look at the larger image to evaluate whether it will complement the existing room decor. The clock kept perfect time over the course of a couple of weeks so it gets five stars for functionality. The colors are exactly as depicted provided you look at the larger image on Amazon's description page. The overall construction seems top notch. The only word of caution I would give is about the slight noise it makes. It certainly is no louder than most clocks but there is an audible "tick" as time passes so those of you looking for something silent should look elsewhere. I am extremely happy with the purchase and have nothing negative to report.
