The product description we thought we ordered specifically stated "hardwood cherry brown" finish.
When we got the product, the box said "faux brown cherry" finish"
When we took the clock out of the box, we realized it was a type of plastic finish, not hardwood material.
Other descriptions on Amazon on same item describe finish as acrylic.
Nice clock if you want brown plastic. It is not hardwood.
