(More customer reviews)Nice modern looking clock and keeps time well. The only thing is, even though the description lists it as black wood, it's in reality a very dark cherry wood. Previous reviewers mentioned the jerky movement of the pendulum, but if you adjust the clock on the wall so that it's perfectly straight, the jerky movement goes away.
PS. Also there is a thin protective plastic covering on the front round part of the pendulum. When it's removed that also decreases the jerky movements of the pendulum.
