This clock makes its rounds from my home office to the kitchen.
Frame is actually aluminum and not plastic (surprise!)
I cannot comment on the durability of the clock because I've had it for a short period of time, however the feel of the clock would suggest that this clock is a higher quality than your average wall clock.
