(More customer reviews)I was a bit wary of this at first as even stuff that seems to say "outdoor safe" nowadays still utilizes cheap things like flimsy tubing and cardboard backs.
When this arrived, I was amazed at the quality. It has a weighted base, the pole holding it all is made of thick threaded pipe, and the back of the clock is made of plastic, not cardboard. It's very good looking out on the porch as well. I was also impressed by how tall this stands, trumping even me and coming in around 6'6"!
The hygrometer seems to be off, though I think it's within 5% and the temperature also seems to be off a degree or two. Unless you are looking for scientific precision, it's not a big deal.
Overall, this is a solid gem in the vast world of Amazon, easily beating out similarly priced used. I'm extremely satisfied with it and get compliments on it all of the time!
