(More customer reviews)I bought this for my husband last Christmas. It was one of his favorite gifts last year... fogless shower mirror, with clock, with light and radio/ipod music! My husband was able to set the clock and make a connection with his computer for music. He loved the idea of it and had enjoyed many showers with his own personal music selection or listening to his favorite talk show on the radio. The bad part is that it didn't even last a year. After a couple of months, the mirror part fogged up and was no longer "fogless" (which he needs to see for shaving). Within 6-7 months, the antenna rusted. Then two weeks ago (less than 11 months of use!), the suction cups stopped functioning so it fell. Once it fell the speakers went out and that was that. For the amount of money that was paid ($100 os so), I feel that it should have lasted much longer than 10-11 months. (And there is no reason for any of the parts used with this "shower" mirror to have been made of materials that RUST! Huge design flaw!). I also feel that the suction cups could have been of better quality for that price... or if that is the nature of suction cups then give the consumer a time frame of when to change them out instead of having it fall and break like what happened to me! Or maybe the product itself is just too heavy for effective support with suction cups? The temporary "fogless" feature should be improved upon too. After all, the main reason for this product is the fogless mirror for shaving.
I think the product is a great idea, but it wasn't designed to last so it's a waste of money in the long run. Too bad, my husband really liked it. This year, I am just going to get him a replacement fogless shower mirror with clock/light. We are not forking out another $100 thats for sure! We wont be buying the Zadro brand either. We are so disappointed that it didnt last.

(More customer reviews)For nearly $70 I expected a lot more. Heck, if only one of the features worked like it was suppsed to, I might be a little happier.
The fog free mirror... Yeah...it worked fine and didn't fog up...for one week. After that, it was no better than the $9 cheap mirror that it replaced in my shower.
The radio/mp3 player...sounded okay and worked okay, but this thing is to be used in the shower, right? Be careful not to splash any water on the front of the housing, which is somewhat necessary since you have to get rid of the fog that forms, as it blocks the sound from the speakers. If you want to use the mirror, forget the radio. If you want to use the radio, forget the mirror.
This this is bulky and heavy. It sticks out into the shower a good 4 inches or more, so you have to get used to it...you will bump it a lot for a while. The suction cups are better than most, but still, after a while, they give away and this monstrosity of a mirror comes crashing down in the middle of the night. I've had it for 4 months and it's fallen a good half dozen times. The last fall broke the housing of the unit so now it's not water tight making the radio and clock unusable.
In a nutshell, save your money and buy a cheap mirror...you'll get the same results.

(More customer reviews)This product was purchased for my 11 yr old daughter to be used with her first i-Pod Nano.
Pros: Non I can think of at the moment.
Cons: Neon blue light is too bright and there's no dimmer switch...also the color scheme make the it difficult to read from any distance over 5 feet or so. Ours does not charge the i-POD as advertised. Sound is terrible...She gets better sound from her i-Dog. The alarm doesn't work...we set it for a time and the alarm either goes off minutes after the set time or it doesn't go off at all. The radio antenna...what's with the wire. I haven't seen that since the 80's. Why can't they make a better internal antenna? My clock radio doesn't have that and I get fantastic FM reception. All told, I would suggest selecting another brand or paying a little more and getting something better.

I got this one because the campy silly fun colors and stuff,,,, might as well feel good about getting up. (It was also a bit less expensive than some choices, though without all the features of some from this company.) I have a TERRIBLE time getting up in the AM and gave this a try- as other reviewers mentioned the vibrating unit definitely lets you know it's time to jump out of bed! The alarm on this one has adjustable volume and can be set to wake- the- neighbors loud; I do not even need it as loud as my regular alarm, at least for now, because it has an odd sort of siren- like whoop to it which wakes me..... and you can also set the tone of the alarm so it whoops slower or faster. There are flashing lights on it too, I did not think they would be helpful but they are, they are just one more thing to grab your attention. When I first tried this out the cat went flying off the bed and down the hall! I imagine like anything I could get used to it, but at least for now it is impossible to sleep through...... and I suspect will stay that way for quite awhile, expecially with the options to change tone and loudness. You can either turn it off just for the day, leaving the alarm set for the next day, or cancel the alarm till it is re- turned on. You can also choose to use just tone, just vibrator or both. A reviewer of a similar product from this company said it gave her a headache; I find that surprising, but then I am not prone to headaches, and I did put the bed- shaking unit under an extra pillow and not immediately under my head. As some others have noted this might irritate a bed-mate (or even roomate or suitemate) quite a bit. But it certainly does the job.

I like the way the handle is part of the shape and not a flip up one that can break off. This is great for someone younger. It's not some little cheap speaker and it's not some big elaborate system. The sound could be better but you get what you pay for and I'm very happy with this. So is my daughter.

My son has used this radio for over a year, various iPods including iTouch, Nano, and iPhone all with great results. He likes the ability to dim the clock read out, the ability to have specific alarms for the week days verse the weekend, the digital tuner and the over all quality of the product. The remote does a good job controlling the iPod that is playing. This is not a boom box, but the sound is excellent for a clock radio in a bedroom. Dual iPod docks have proved handy for charging.

I especially love the lights on the sides and the ability to dim them during the day and enhance them for the evening. I keep this player in my kitchen/family room. It has a great sound and works well for hearing music from almost any room. I would have enjoyed the option of a remote with this unit. That way I could change playlists or songs from the sofa or chair with a click of the button.

(More customer reviews)I've had this radio for about a month. I purchased it as a replacement for my 25 year-old alarm clock radio, and also to see what HD radio was like. Overall, the workmanship of the radio is fine, and the sound quality is decent, given the size and price. The radio has quite a few features packed in for the money, and from that standpoint, it is a good buy. FM reception is good. AM reception is average.
As I primarily use this as an alarm-clock radio, my review comes from using the radio for that purpose. I don't use the iPod docking function, or use the radio for casual listening. As such, the radio has some short-comings as an alarm-clock radio, and that's why I only gave it three stars. If used the radio primarily for something else, like casual daytime listening or an iPod dock, I could easily see rating it higher. The issues with the alarm clock function are as follows:
1) The display is way too bright for an alarm-clock radio, even on the dimmest setting. Particularly if the radio is sitting on a nightstand next to the bed. There are are three brigthness settings, but very little difference between them. Due to the brightness of the backlight, it is very difficult to glance over and see the time when it is dark if you've been sleeping and have just waken up. Backlit LCD is not the best display technology for an alarm-clock application.
2) When the alarm starts the radio, the time is no longer displayed. You can push a button to display the time, but it reverts back to the radio information. Not exactly convenient if you are laying in bed and need to see what time it is. During the alarm-clock function, a time display is more important than the radio station frequency or other HD information. The radio display function should have a display modes with a large time display that can be permanently selected. Perhaps along the bottom where the HD radio information scrolls by. The Sony radios have this feature.
3) When the radio is used as an alarm, the radio turns off 1 hour after it first goes off. For me, 1 hour is a little short, especially if I hit snooze a couple of times. My old radio used a two hour time period. Ideally, this setting could be adjustable.
4) The snooze is 6 minutes. That's a little short for me. Again, it would be nice if this setting was adjustable.
The last three issues could be fixed with some software changes. The first item would require a hardware change. Maybe I can find some tinted plastic film that could be fitted over the display to tone it down a bit.

(More customer reviews)I saw this for sale at a local store, so I thought I would do some digging for information. Unfortunately, there is almost zero. It doesn't say it anywhere online or on the box, but this will indeed charge your iPhone 3G. It's possible that they did not want to pay for licensing. Since it will charge the 3G, it should charge all of the new non-firewire iPods (Nano 5G, etc).
It's nice and compact, but certainly sturdy. Once you take a leaf through the instruction manual, it's very easy to use. Not one of those things I recommend to start pushing buttons feet-first, because you'll probably be woken up at 2:30am by accident.
What else can I say about it? It charges my iPhone, plays pretty well (a 5.1 system this isn't), has an aux-in for a Zune, etc, has dual-alarms with 3-4 different options each. If you're looking for a cheap replacement for your firewire-charging alarm clock, this is a good choice.

(More customer reviews)When I went to the different stores I was looking for a small, minimal space occupying alarm clock that I can put by my bedside that would charge my iPhone, an adjustable buzzer volume that would wake me up with the buzzer, and not illuminate my whole room. If you're looking for that, then this is the product you need. In my shopping in stores I found them all to be too large, or the clock too bright, or the buzzer wasn't loud enough and didn't give you the option to adjust the volume to a level suitable for yourself. If you're looking for a high quality sound system, I doubt this is product for you because even though I didn't test the sound, I can't see it being used to provide music for a house party because it is so compact. I also really like that the ability to adjust the brightess of the alarm clock is real easy to find because it doubles as the snooze button when the alarm isn't going off. So, if it happens to be too bright you can adjust it easily. It has 3 levels of brightness and the option to completely turn the backlight off. I also am going to like the one touch button on back that will adjust up and back for daylight savings time. So basically my need for an alarm clock-iPhone charger was finally met in this product. Set up quickly and so far very happy with it.
