(More customer reviews)I got this shower radio because I wanted to be able to listen to the songs on my MP3 while I was in the shower. The transmitter thing works, just not very well. the box says the transmitter can work "up yo 100 ft" from the radio, but I found it works best when it's less than 1 ft away. I had to put the transmitter and my MP3 in a ziploc bag and tape it to my shower wall to be able to hear my music with no static. not a pretty solution. In adition, when your using the MP3 feature, the bass sounds really bad. Otherwise, sound quality was ok. The radio works perfectly though, and is easy to use.

I picked this up to replace a piece of junk Curtis shower radio I bought my wife from Best Buy. She was so dissapointed in the Curtis because no stations would come in on its analog tuner.
The Sony was everything the cheaper Curtis wasn't. It is fully digital including the tuner. It has an external antenna and the reception is great. It sounds great for a littler radio with a even a bit of bass. The auto off feature will let you turn this thing on first thing in the morning and not worry about draining the batteries by leaving it on all day. Aditionally, it comes with a rope strap that will let you hang it from about anything. It is a bit on the heavy side because it is built solid as a rock.
The final word is I am super pleased with this little radio. My only gripe is the price: ... ouch. But if you believe that you get what you pay for...

(More customer reviews)For nearly $70 I expected a lot more. Heck, if only one of the features worked like it was suppsed to, I might be a little happier.
The fog free mirror... Yeah...it worked fine and didn't fog up...for one week. After that, it was no better than the $9 cheap mirror that it replaced in my shower.
The radio/mp3 player...sounded okay and worked okay, but this thing is to be used in the shower, right? Be careful not to splash any water on the front of the housing, which is somewhat necessary since you have to get rid of the fog that forms, as it blocks the sound from the speakers. If you want to use the mirror, forget the radio. If you want to use the radio, forget the mirror.
This this is bulky and heavy. It sticks out into the shower a good 4 inches or more, so you have to get used to it...you will bump it a lot for a while. The suction cups are better than most, but still, after a while, they give away and this monstrosity of a mirror comes crashing down in the middle of the night. I've had it for 4 months and it's fallen a good half dozen times. The last fall broke the housing of the unit so now it's not water tight making the radio and clock unusable.
In a nutshell, save your money and buy a cheap mirror...you'll get the same results.

(More customer reviews)Before you buy this just know that it's cheap. It is made of cheap plastic, and under no circumstances trust your iPod in it not to get wet and get ruined. Also be aware that it DOES NOT FIT ALL iPods!!!! I have a 30 gig iPod and I cannot get it in there all the way because the wire that connects into the head set plug stops it from setting in correctly, which in turn stops me from putting in the bottom cover. Those little lights are a joke also. All in all I would have rather paid a little more money for a better built one. Also you can not navigate through your songs once you have put it in the radio. This thing is just all around CRAP!!!

If you are like me, though, you either just want to hear music in the shower or bath or you are trying to be considerate to anyone who can hear you sing. I get good reception from the radio and get many channels. My cds play fine, the mirror doesn't fog and the clock helps me keep track of time. You can't adjust the settings (such as treble and bass), but for crying out loud, it's a CD player/radio for your shower...how good does it have to be? I am thrilled with the performance of this product and would recommend it to anyone that wants a little music in their lives (or more specifically, their showers)!

(More customer reviews)I spent a lot of time reviewing other waterproof shower radios, and this one seemed to have a lot of customer satisfaction. I've been using this radio for about 4 weeks now. Such a big improvement of the previous radio I was using. The sound quality is very good and the signal reception is excellant. I use it in the basement bathroom and even tucked away in the shower in the basement, it manages to pull in the stations I had trouble receiving with the previous radio. Very nice.

(More customer reviews)Sounds like a $15 radio. It works, tells time, get's some stations better than others, and sounds cheap. But if I had wanted great sound, I wouldn't have spent $15. It sticks to the wall well, and the clock is accurate. I usually listen to AM talk in the morning getting ready for work. My favorite station comes in marginally well. The strongest station in the area comes in well. Not a lot of volume, but again, it serves the purpose. When I get tired of this, I'll buy a $50 bathroom radio and toss this out.

(More customer reviews)I bought this radio mainly so my 2 year old and I can listen to fun kid music while we take a bath. Sounds great and can be turned down quite low...nice in an echoey bathroom. I only wish it weren't quite so bulky and that you could change CDs without accessing the back of the unit. If it's hanging up on the shower arm against the tile wall you basically have to take it down to change discs. Minor indeed buy annoying nonetheless. Given the choices out there I'd definitely buy this again.
