(More customer reviews)We bought the red Alessi timer because it would have been a perfect fit for our kitchen. But, we had trouble getting it to work right and we're pretty sure that we broke it while messing with it. We're really not rough people; it just seems that the timer is much too easy to break. (Note: We learned that this timer must be turned all the way to 60 and then back to the time you want. The instructions don't say that. The timer still didn't work for us, but we think it was already broken by the time we learned about that.)

However, it ticks loudly! The ticking is very annoying, to the point that I decided to return it.
If you don't mind a ticking timer though, this product would be nice to own.
