(More customer reviews)I bought this clock for my daughter who is a junior in high school. She loves seeing EXACTLY how much longer she has till graduation! She will be able to re-set it when she goes to college, and again when she enters veterinary school.
Several years ago, I bought my mom the retirement countdown clock (same manufacturer). She LOVED it, and after she retired she gave it to my dad. Maybe someday I'll have one... but I'm not sure it can count THAT high! LOL

(More customer reviews)I gave this to my father, and he absolutely loves it. He's even taken it to work to show it off. It is reprogrammable, so he plans to pass it down when he retires in a couple of years.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's pretty small. Not a deal-breaker for me, but I would recommend checking the specs before you order it.

(More customer reviews)Poor quality, lightweight wood? Looks like it was hand painted in a hobby garage. Not to mention the worn areas of no paint at all. Can't comment on time keeping, as these conculsions just from removing from packaging. Hour and minute hands cheap quality, have to keep pushing them on clock. Nice hook to hang clock but again poor design, you hang clock and it doesnt rest evenly on wall, the bottom of clock rest on wall, the top is about 1 1/2 inches away from wall. Should have put a little thought into design and added rubber stoppers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 on back of clock. Most disappointing item purchased from amazon, dropping their perfect record with me down by one, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. 2 star rating only for cute concept. Maid in china- try hanging on wall before selling!

(More customer reviews)I should have got it ready a day before the event..as I was scrambling around trying to get it to work. The birthday boy ended up helping me since I was having difficulty. Changed the battery and it is very sensitive ...so if the battery is off kilter just a bit it won't work. Once we got it going it was all good. Loved it and everyone wants one now.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 80 year-old mom to help her keep track of what day it is. The clock works fine and is easy to use. I am giving this three stars because the manufacturer has their web site name/company logo printed in big letters across the bottom of the clock face. It fills up the space for Wednesday and Thursday and ruins the look of the clock. The picture on Amazon doesn't depict this. Why have a mahogany clock and then ruin the look? To ensure that you know what you are getting, go to the manufacturer web site to see a picture of the clock (dayclocks dot com).
7/08 Update - After using this for a few months I found that my mom wasn't using it as much as when she first got it. I found that it was a bit too subtle hanging on her wall. I got her a "Big Digital LED Calendar Clock" from Amazon for about $65 and put it on top of her TV. It is more effective because it is obnoxiously big, but that is what she needed to keep track of what day it is. It is really big (about 4 inches tall), but it also tells the month, date and time. In summary, if someone needs a gentle reminder of what day it is, the Day Clock should work, but if someone needs a very conspicuous reminder of day and date, then go with the Big Digital LED Calendar Clock.

(More customer reviews)I am completely thrilled with the idea of this clock - however the picture is VERY misleading. When we received the clock, there was a large "Day Clock" logo right on the "Wednesday/Thursday" line. It completely ruins the look of the clock, and now it seems that we'll hang up a large advertisement right on our wall.
This was incredibly disappointing and I feel very mislead by both Amazon and Day Clock company - this logo is not in the pictures online!
