(More customer reviews)Simply put, this is the best, simple timer with a vibrate and light function, added. I don't know why they discontinued it. It tends to eat the battery a bit when you set all functions to go off at once, but then it comes back when you just put one on... I didn't consider it a problem at all, as I use it for meditation, and didn't need a super loud beeping. Love it. Bring it back.

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent timer, it being extremely simple and easy to use. However it has one drawback - it only counts up or down to 20 minutes so it doesn't quite fill my needs, therefore the 4 star rating. I bought another timer that counts up to 99 minutes.

(More customer reviews)I used to have the problem of falling half-asleep with the light on all night, and waking up to feel absolutely horrible the next day.
Anyway, I got one of these outdoor timers, covered up the photo-dectector with black tape, and plugged by bedstand light into it. Every two hours it will shut the light off. If I'm still awake I just turn it off and on again with a handy remote-cord I have. Then the light stays on another two hours.
When I was a kid my mother would make sure I didn't have the light on all night. This product is like an electronic mother!

(More customer reviews)I bought this clock for my daughter who is a junior in high school. She loves seeing EXACTLY how much longer she has till graduation! She will be able to re-set it when she goes to college, and again when she enters veterinary school.
Several years ago, I bought my mom the retirement countdown clock (same manufacturer). She LOVED it, and after she retired she gave it to my dad. Maybe someday I'll have one... but I'm not sure it can count THAT high! LOL

(More customer reviews)Used it for a 5K run. The clock was very easy to read in the bright sunlight. We will be mounting it above the finish line next year so it's easier for runners to see as they cross the line. Kind of complicated to get it set to start timing, the instructions are good, but have to be followed carefully. Don't lose them. Very good clock for half the price of most of the other ones we found. Numbers are two inches tall which seems small but can be seen just fine from 15 feet away. We ran an extension cord from a building to where we had the clock set up.

(More customer reviews)If you set the timer for 10 minutes, it beeps at the 5 minute mark, then again at 3 mintues, then at 0. It also doesn't show seconds. Even when the countdown is less than one minute, it doesn't display seconds. Otherwise, it's fine.

(More customer reviews)I gave this to my father, and he absolutely loves it. He's even taken it to work to show it off. It is reprogrammable, so he plans to pass it down when he retires in a couple of years.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's pretty small. Not a deal-breaker for me, but I would recommend checking the specs before you order it.

Changed the battery and it is very sensitive ...so if the battery is off kilter just a bit it won't work. Once we got it going it was all good. Loved it and everyone wants one now.

VERY disappointing. I like the product otherwise -- easy to set, fun to be motivated by the counting down, etc., but once the screen goes dead it's just a $25 dust-catcher sitting on my desk.

Countdown Clock - Atomic Radio Control Review

(More customer reviews)I just received this which I intend to use as a countdown clock for various reasons. It automatically set to the current time, but I had to go back and change the time zone to get it set to central (set as mountain for some reason). Because the buttons to set are in the back, it's not easy to set because some times it reset back to starting screen while I was trying to figure out which of the 6 buttons I was supposed to push next. Because the instructions are somewhat unclear, I then accidentally set the 'current' time to the date I wanted the countdown to start on. There's a little icon that I missed in the diagram that indicates what you are setting.
Once it was set, I love it. It's sitting by my computer now counting down to my big vacation. After that is over, I'll set it for my final retirement date. Hopefully I'll be able to find the instructions when that happens because it's not intuitive to set.
It also has a daily alarm but I have not tried that feature
It requires two batteries (included - CR2032)
