This is a good addition to the contemporary set up i have in my living room. However, the kids cannot read the time well - and most of the time - we ended up using other ways to tell time. It's not big - and thus, difficult to tell the exact time since the clock is hung up quite high. I would say that this is more a decorative item than a functional item. It is definitely not for regular time telling - given it's level of difficulty, and the small size, plus the fact that - the clock has to be hung (note - cannot be place on counter or console table as there's no stand for it).

Industrial designer Gideon Dagan's new clock captures the essence of pure, minimalist design. A seemingly gravity-defying ball travels around the dial to mark the time, creating an eye-catching illusion. Made of injection-molded ABS plastic, the clock features a high-torque, precision quartz movement. One AA battery is required (not included). 9.5" diameter. Made in USA for MoMA (Museum of Modern Art, NY).
