(More customer reviews)What differentiates this alarm clock from the others? Quite a few things separate this clock from most of the pack. I have listed the noteworthy features of this clock below:
1. The battery backup assures you won't oversleep
2. There is a battery indicator so you know when to change the battery backup
3. You never need to reset the time when the power goes out. The clock is preset at the factor and has the correct time when you plug it in. You select from the following time zones (Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaskan, or Hawaiian)
4. You can set the clock for day light savings time and make leap year adjustments to keep the time and week on track
5. You can set the clock to have different times during the week and weekend all at one time
6. There is a dual alarm feature
7. There are many different options for what you will wake up to (Radio, Nature Sounds, or Buzzer)
8. You can adjust the illumination on the face if you like a dark room or a bright display
9. Four nature sounds (Ocean Surf, Birds, Brook, or Wind Chimes)
10. There is a timer that will turn off the nature sounds or radio in either 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes so that you can fall asleep to sound
11. You can preset 18 radio stations
For the money, this is a nice alarm clock.

(More customer reviews)This is a lamp, so I'm not sure why they have it here reviewed as a toy. It's a decent material, but I'd keep it away from young kids. Cool idea and great looking lamp, though. The LED clock is super bright and the speaker is nice and loud. The alarm is just a beep though, not something Star Wars related which would have been way better. NO BULB IS INCLUDED. It's a cool lamp, but it takes a 25 WATT BULB, which is an odd and small size. A REGULAR BULB WILL NOT WORK. I haven't tried a CFL, but I DOUBT IT WILL FIT. It's a good buy, but be ready with a 25 WATT BULB so you can use it right away.

GPX C280 AM/FM Sunrise Clock Radio (Multi-Color) Review

(More customer reviews)I like waking with the sun, but in the winter, the sun comes long after I have to get up. I've thought about a sunrise clock for a while, but I can't bring myself to pay $100 for one. This one was affordable, so I purchased it and crossed my fingers. It has been fantastic.
The light does come on relatively quickly-- over the course of a few seconds, but it definitely helps with waking me. The light is a bit on the bluish end of the spectrum as opposed to a "warm sunrise" but it gets the job done well. The radio ramps up the sound so I no longer feel like I'm jolted out of bed. It has surprisingly good reception and really good sound for the price.
It took me a while to figure out how to program it (I didn't read the instructions), but it was quite doable.
I highly recommend this.

(More customer reviews)I bought this item because of it style and listed functions. It does look good, but the device is a little difficult to get used to. Just about all the control buttons are flush mounted because of this style, and as a result are sometimes hard to locate, especially when you are in a morning funk when the alarm is going off. The all-important "snooze" button is a classic case of this. It is also recessed, and you can easily miss it, smudging the beatiful smooth surfaces in your attempts to snooze it. All in all, it's OK, it is just that I bought it as a daily use alarm clock, and it is taking me a while to come to grips w/ it.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice clock for the office, but I don't depend on it to wake me up. I chose this clock because of the dual alarms and iPod connection. The buzzer alarm is not very loud and turns off automatically when the radio alarm goes off. The radio is not good - very bad reception that fades in and out without moving the dial or antenna wire. I'm going to find a better alarm clock and take this to the office as a desk clock & iPod speaker. The good features: dimmer for the display, 2,5, 7 day alarms, automatically updates with Daylight Savings change and you can adjust the volume for the sleep setting without changing the alarm volume.
