(More customer reviews)We did not purchase this from Amazon, but please don't waste your money. The mechanism the runs the clock is worth about $2.00. It is cheap. Ours went out after 3 years and we called the company and they said it was only supposed to work for 3 to 5 years. They sent out a new, free, but this is nothing to pass on to your kids. Garage sale stuff.

This attractive clock will look great in just about any room!The attractive shell clock features a perimeter of various seashells. The light colored center background features black Roman Numerals and the words;"HOTEL NIOR" and "PARIS FRANCE 1921"Notice the aged, distressed finish which adds character to the clock.This is a beautiful wooden decoupage hanging wall clock. The clock measures 23" in diameter. (More customer reviews)Although the hands of the clock don't seem to be very sturdy, there's no problem with them once the clock is in place. I did think that the background of the clock looked better in the picture than in person because it almost looks like it is made out of paper (the entire background is printed), but unless you are inspecting it up close, it's not that noticeable. I am satisfied with the clock and do think it's a very nice clock for the price.

(More customer reviews)The cool thing about this clock is that it's got a digital timekeeper on the back, which is what you set (not the hands). The hands adjust automatically to be match the digital time, so there is pretty much no drift like some analog clocks have. But it's plastic and therefore just a bit dorky, in spite of its attactive design. Yeah you can spend a lot more on a clock, but you can spend a lot less too.

I had purchased other clocks and had to return those clocks due to loud ticking, but this clock is perfect....can't hear the ticking at all!
