(More customer reviews)This clock is everything and more than I expected. I have a kitchen with red cabinets and needed a new kitchen clock. I viewed online over 583 different clocks and chose this one. After I ordered it, an orange & pink numbered clock arrived and I was heartbroken. It did not look good in my kitchen at all. I contacted the merchant within 10 minutes of opening the box. They said they would send out a replacement. Well... within 3 days the merchant sent an email via Amazon that the black/red clock was no longer avaiable and they would refund the cost plus the shipping and I could keep the "incorrect" clock free of charge. I sent an email to the merchant and explained that I really, I mean really wanted the black/red clock and could they PLEASE try to find one. Well nearly two weeks later, the UPS man brought a package to the door and when I opened it, guess what? Yep, it was the black/red clock. The merchant included a return no cost shipping for the orange/pink clock. But the incredible fact was that the merchant did not charge me for the black/red clock and I had to contact Amazon to tell them I wanted to pay for the clock as the merchant went above and beyond to make me happy. Thank you to Amazon and to this wonderful merchant. Amazon is wonderful when there is a problem and is great anyway. I have bought from Amazon for YEARS and this was my first ever return, everything was handled beautifully with my needs thought of first. And every day when I check the time in the kitchen I always think of the great merchant and of course, Amazon.com!!!

(More customer reviews)I've had this clock since January 2010, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's kept accurate time right down to the minute ever since I've had it; I haven't had to reset the time or change the AA battery once yet. It's very easy to read, and it's got a lot of eye appeal. The only downside is that the mechanism is noisy, so it's not highly recommended for a bedroom unless you can tune it out or keep a fan in the window.

I am actually suprised to still see this error as I pointed it out when I returned the product over 6 months ago!
So now for a quiz. Q: What do you get when you put a cheap looking clock in a fairly decent frame? A: A cheap looking clock in a decent frame.

Bai Timemaster Wall Clock with Automatic Day & Date, White Review

But apparently this clock was designed by people who think every month of the year has 31 days. The manual tells you for every month that doesn't have 31 days, you're supposed to get the clock off the wall and reset the date counter to the correct date. It'd be better to have no date display than one that will drift every other month.

(More customer reviews)I received this clock today and mine also has a second hand, as an earlier reviewer commented. I really like this clock. I knew its dimensions but it seems larger (not a bad thing). It is an excellent value at this price point and you can't beat the retro styling - of the face especially. I also love its color. I gave the clock 4 stars as I'm not quite as pleased with the outer part, it's pretty obvious that it is thin plastic rather than a heavy plastic resembling metal (which to me it looks very much like from the picture here). I now know exactly what to expect when I read "resin construction", I suppose. But again, for the price this is a great clock and I certainly can't complain much. I see stuff like it all of the time in stores for $40 and more.

I would recommend using a wall anchor when hanging this clock on the wall. This is a nice option for people looking for a clock that isn't a circle.

Unfortunately, it didn't last through a couple straight days of thunderstorms, the paint ran & the battery died. I'll probably order another one because I like the theme & it's so cute, but will keep it protected so that it lasts through a few summers.

(More customer reviews)The plexiglas is clear, not frosted. There are shadows on the wall from the numbers. Would be very difficult for children to tell the time. Any blemishes on the wall behind it will be clearly seen.
It is very inaccurate at keeping time. Have had it less than a month. Yet it keeps losing time. The second hand keeps getting stuck on the minute hand. Has removed the silver finish. Then it will come free, leaving the clock hours behind.

It was completely quiet for about 2 months and then started making a very fast ticking sound (though running properly), which was even more annoying than a normal ticking. It didn't do it when I laid it down flat on a surface. I took the battery out, left it flat for a few hours, and put a new battery in, and it quit making the sound. So far it has stayed silent with the new battery. This seems to indicate that it's not reliably silent, though, so keep that in mind. Another important factor is that this is in an RV, so though it hasn't been shaken, it has jostled around a little, certainly more than it would on, say, the kitchen wall.

You can't tell from the picture with the white background, but the center of the clock (around the face of the clock) is open, with just the 4 spokes radiating out to the pictures. It looks really nice on a dark colored wall. It was very easy to open the backs of the little picture frames to put in pictures too. Would highly recommend this as a gift.
