(More customer reviews)The clock looks almost exactly as it does in the picture (for me) - the hands appeared a little reddish on my computer but they are actually brown which matches the metal frame. I've been looking for a smaller clock for awhile and all the ones either online or in stores looked too tacky or were just too expensive. I have re-done my master bathroom to have more of a spa-like feeling and I wanted a simple, elegant clock to fit into that decor. This clock fit the bill for me. This is the second "Chaney Instruments" clock I have bought (the other was through a local department store). That clock also has a metal frame, more like a medium-oak color. It has Roman numerals and also has that elegant, simple look. Also at a very reasonable price. Based on these 2 clocks, I would look at "Chaney Instruments" clocks first - can't beat the combination of price/quality.
Clock arrived well packed and earlier than expected.

(More customer reviews)This clock looks nice and works fine. The only drawback is that it "ticks" a little louder than I hoped. We got this clock partly because it has no second had, but it still ticks the seconds away, and I can hear it at night when it's quiet and I'm going to sleep, even though it's in the next room. It's really only noticeable then, when it's quiet, so don't get one for your bedroom. Otherwise it should be fine.

(More customer reviews)I liked the design of this clock, but it just doesn't have the quality control needed, even for a Chinese product.
I installed a fresh battery when it arrived. This product worked OK for about 30 days. After about 30 days it started behaving erratically, and the time kept speeding up. Eventually it just stopped working.
I cannot recommend this clock.

(More customer reviews)I purchase a while clock from wal-mart and the ticking never subsided. This clock is silent and has a neat retro-look to it, but would really fit with any decor. It has 4 indented lines on top, bottom and sides for a polished look.

(More customer reviews)The Clock has a clean black and white look, and I find the look of the hands very nice. The outer diameter is 16". The diameter of the face itself is about 12.5". Easy to read from any point in my house where I can see it. Keeps perfect time so far (installed about one week at time of this review). This clock is powered by a single AA battery. I don't know what more you could ask for in a battery powered wall clock.

Noisy clicks when it ticks and obviously the construction of the piece is crap plastic for the most part but you are paying [...] for a decent looking wall clock. Not so great for a room where you demand quiet but we put this in our workout area where clicking goes unnoticed and the numbers are big and easy to make out from a distance. This sure is a clock.

(More customer reviews)Clock looks very nice, and has not lost or gained any noticeable time since I bought it a year ago. The tick is quite loud (which I like), and has a nice sound to it. It is plastic, but looks good. Mine is in a bathroom and has stood up to humidity and condensation every day.
I just ordered 2 more because its a good price and I like the item I have already.
